The part you cannot buy anywhere

A twenty-denar plastic clip breaks and suddenly the whole appliance is scrap, because the part was discontinued in 2016 and nobody stocks it. This is the single most useful thing a 3D printer does, and it is most of our work.

You do not need a 3D model

Almost nobody who needs a spare part has a CAD file for it, and that is fine: we model it. Send us what you have and we will come back with a price for drawing it and printing it.

  • Photos of the broken part from several angles, including the side that mounts.
  • A few measurements with calipers or even a ruler: overall size, hole spacing, shaft diameter.
  • A photo of where it fits, which often tells us more than the part itself.
  • The appliance brand and model number, if it is still on the sticker.

What we replace most often

If it is small, plastic, and no longer sold, it is probably printable.

  • Appliance knobs, buttons, dials and detergent drawer handles
  • Fridge and freezer shelf clips, drawer runners and door catches
  • Washing machine and dishwasher latches, filter caps and hose brackets
  • Furniture connectors, shelf pins, cabinet hinges and drawer stops
  • Car interior clips, vent louvres, trim fasteners and boot fittings
  • Boat and jet-ski fittings, hatch catches, fairleads and mounts
  • Blind and shutter end caps, curtain rail gliders and window handles
  • Pram, bike and pushchair brackets and adapters

What works well, and what does not

We would rather tell you no than sell you a part that breaks again in a month.

Printing works well for shapes under roughly 25 cm that carry moderate load: clips, brackets, housings, spacers, handles, covers. It works badly for parts that must take heavy sustained force, contain pressure, run hot, or slide against metal all day. Threads work, but for anything load-bearing we design in a metal insert or bolt rather than printing the thread itself.

How long it takes

If you send a good set of photos and measurements, modelling a simple part usually takes us a day, and printing it takes hours rather than days. Complex parts with curves and internal geometry take longer to draw. We will tell you which yours is when we quote.

Common questions

I only have the broken pieces. Is that enough?
Usually yes, and broken is often better than nothing: the fracture shows us the wall thickness. Keep every fragment, photograph them laid out together, and we will work from that. We can also reinforce the point where it failed, so the replacement is stronger than the original.
Can you copy a part exactly?
We reproduce the shape and fit. We do not copy branding, logos or anything patented, and we will not reproduce safety-critical parts: brake components, gas fittings, load-bearing structure or anything holding pressure. Those you buy properly made.
Will it be as strong as the original?
Often stronger, sometimes not. Injection-moulded parts are dense and uniform; printed ones are layered and weaker across those layers. We compensate by choosing the material, thickening the walls and orienting the layers against the load, and for parts that failed once already, that usually means the printed one outlasts it.
Do you deliver outside Ohrid?
Yes, anywhere in Macedonia for a flat fee. Plenty of spare part orders come from people who have never been to the shop: post or photograph the part, we print it, it arrives.
What does it cost?
The print itself is usually the minimum order fee for a part this size. If we have to model it from scratch there is a design charge on top, quoted up front once we have seen the photos, and it is almost always less than replacing the whole appliance.
